ABSTRACT
As the water and sewer utility provider for one of the fastest growing counties in the country, the Berkeley County Water and Sanitation continuously updates and modifies their existing infrastructure to ensure reliable water and sewer service. One of its most recent improvements was to the Lower Berkeley Wastewater Treatment Plant through the installation of over 20,000 linear feet (LF) of 18-in. and 14,500 LF of 24-in. fusible polyvinylchloride force main through trenchless installation methodologies.
