ABSTRACT
The urban rail transit station is the key node of the urban rail transit network. The layout of service facilities in the station directly affects the selection of passengers’ routes, which is an important factor to alleviate the congestion. This paper analyzes the passenger flow conflict under the different layout of service facilities. Based on AnyLogic, we build models of different facilities layout to simulate passenger flow and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of different facilities layout. According to the layout of Xiaozhai Station of line 2 of Xi’an metro, the passenger flow during the low peak period of a working day is simulated. Aiming at the bottleneck of the passenger density map, the optimization scheme is proposed and the simulation is modeled again. Some constructive suggestions are put forward to alleviate the congestion in the station.
