ABSTRACT
Young drivers are a high-risk group for traffic accidents, and risky driving behaviors are the main cause for traffic accidents. In order to analyze the driving behavior characteristics of young drivers. A four-factor driving behavior questionnaire (DBQ) for the analysis in the study was obtained firstly based on the 388 questionnaires, the reliability analysis, and validity analysis. Then the driving behavior was divided into five categories, and the influencing factors of different driving behaviors were analyzed by a non-parametric test, with the characteristics of young drivers as the basic point. The results show that, overall, the differences between different types of young drivers are not significant. But specific to ordinary violations, aggressive violations, errors, and lapses, there are differences in the performance of different types of young drivers. For traffic safety management, it is important to pay attention to the characteristics of young drivers.
