ABSTRACT
Based on literature review and accident investigation methods, this paper determines the characteristic parameters and quantification methods of collision severity of collisions between vehicles and electric two-wheelers. We use PC-Crash software to simulate and reproduce 100 cases of car and electric bicycle collision accidents and extract the human body injury index of the electric bicycle driver. We then study the human injury index using in-depth data association with the collision speed difference, collision type, and collision angle of the two vehicles. The results show that the collision speed is positively correlated with human injury, and the vehicle speed has a greater impact on human injury. The type of electric bicycle collision and the collision position of the two vehicles have a significant impact on human injury.
