ABSTRACT
The development of urban public traffic system is closely related to the travel mode choice for residents. The existing defects of the public traffic system can be analyzed through the evaluation and develop in the direction of meeting the current needs. This paper uses AHP-DEA to establish an urban public traffic service quality evaluation model, evaluates the urban public traffic line layout and service level in existing mode and “one road one route” mode of the conventional bus system. The evaluation and analysis are carried out on the bus lines of the road sections passing through the six main intersections in the study area. After selecting the indicators, the evaluation data is obtained through field investigation and software calculation. AHP is used to analyze the weight of the indicator to establish the evaluation matrix to obtain the evaluation result. The cross-efficiency evaluation method of the DEA model is used to obtain the evaluation average value, and then the two methods are combined to obtain the final evaluation. The evaluation result could obtain the rank of indicators as well as shows under the “One road, one route” mode is 13.922, and better than existing mode. The evaluation results of different modes can provide planning assistance for urban bus network planning and for traffic management.
