ABSTRACT
Crew scheduling is one of the basic plans of railway transportation organization. At present, intercity railway emphasizes passenger flow adaptation and resource supply and demand matching, and “Daily Diagram” is proposed under the background, which puts forward higher requirements on real-time and flexibility in the compilation of high-speed railway and crew scheduling. Based on the analysis of the regular operation pattern of the actual inter-city train timetable under the condition of the daily diagram, this paper focuses on the reasonable proportion of crew in each crew base according to the characteristics of intercity railway transport organization. A 0-1 integer programming model with minimizing the total invalid rest time of crew was constructed under the constraints of time-space continuity, crew working hours, and dining time. In this paper, the train number in a day is divided into several numbers of train’s chains, and the train number of chains is taken as the minimum unit of task assignment of the crew. A large number of obvious unfavorable solutions are eliminated, which greatly reduces the search scope of understanding space, and solves them by means of IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio. Taking the actual operation data of Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway as an example, the results show that the method can ensure the timeliness and quality of crew scheduling formation for inter-city railway in the background of daily diagram.
