ABSTRACT
The toll collection system of highways needs to calculate and split the toll based on the paths of vehicles. This requires the toll collection system to accurately determine the paths of vehicles. Using the graph theory, this paper proposes a strategy to solve ambiguous paths based on the concept of V2X cooperation node. First, the nature of the multi-path recognition logic is analyzed and compared. Second, an abstract definition of concepts including V2X cooperation nodes is proposed, and a mapping method for a toll road network and its graph under well-defined constraints is given. Finally, an example is given to design a multi-path recognition system for a typical road network, and the advantages of multi-path recognition strategy based on the concept of V2X cooperation are illustrated and compared with traditional approaches.
