ABSTRACT
This paper provides information regarding Tucson Water’s proactive asset management program for PCCP, which includes continuous acoustic monitoring, cathodic protection, and implementing immediate replacement or repairs. A specific case involving inspection and repair of a distressed 54 in. PCCP is presented to demonstrate how verification inspection can provide information that affects how the pipeline is managed and cathodically protected.
