Abstract
We propose an innovative vehicle mobility model based on vehicle-to-vehicle communication and vehicle-to-environment perception. This model is inspired by the artificial fish school algorithm, which can achieve the self-organization of the vehicle formation and mobility on the ramp entrance of freeways. Several experiments are conducted to validate and analysis the proposed model. In addition, the results also display evaluation parameters in traffic engineering for the model. The simulation results prove that this model can represent the mobile vehicles in vehicle-to-vehicle communication scenarios.
