Abstract
The taxi industry development level in different cities is an important reference factor for formulating differentiated policies. Using Jiangsu Province as an example, this study uses SOM network to study development level of taxi industry and analyze the factors affecting the development of urban taxis, and the applicability of SOM network in different urban taxi development pattern recognition is discussed. Empirical application shows that introducing SOM network to cluster analysis of urban taxi industry structure is effective. The result shows that the development of the taxi industry in Jiangsu Province is obviously regional, and the development of the central region is the worst, where is difficult to achieve efficient cluster radiation. At the same time, the key influencing factors in the network are identified, which provides a basis for the later policy of urban taxi industry cluster development.
