Study on Comprehensive Evaluation Index System of Green Highway Transport Enterprises

In recent years, the highway transport sector has been the largest energy consumer and carbon emitter within the transport industry of China. The improvement of green highway transport enterprises is of importance to the green and sustainable development of the sector and the whole transport industry. We need to build a scientific evaluation index system to assess the green development performances of enterprises. Firstly, the connotation of the green highway transport enterprises is analyzed. Then, the paper designs multi-level comprehensive evaluation index systems for green highway passenger and highway freight transport enterprises. Next, key elements of the index system are specifically illustrated, such as weights and full marks allocation of indexes, determination and marking criterion of each index, and comprehensive evaluation algorithm. Finally, the given case study shows the established evaluation index system is feasible and reliable.
