Abstract
With the development of the market economy and modern logistics, the focus of railway freight transportation reform has become achieving timely, accurate, and convenient freight transportation timely. The research of the minimum organized number of train wagons can shorten the time wagons stay in a station and speed up the delivery of freight on the basis of ensuring a certain transportation revenue. Through the analysis of train assembly mode in a marshalling station, and combining the time interval of wagon assembly, the model of the minimum organized number of train wagons in marshalling station is established by considering the dual benefits of railway transportation enterprise benefits (economic benefits) and the shipper benefits (time performance). By applying and analyzing the model, the number of organized train wagons, and the relationship between section distance, time value of freight, and average accumulation time in station are obtained.
