Abstract
This paper discusses the capabilities and limitations of current laser profiling technologies for pipeline condition assessment and rehabilitation design, and introduces the next generation of georeferencing lasers. A recent case study for which the georeferencing laser was deployed is presented, with lessons learned and key takeaways.
