Delineation of Urban Subcatchment by Inverse Modeling

Abstract

Delineation of urban catchment areas is important in the decision making of stormwater management, city planning, and urban flooding mitigation. We propose a new method using inverse modeling to identify the area and location of the urban catchment. The method is applied to the city of Shanghai, China.
