The Subject Orientation and Knowledge Structure Design of the Master of Engineering Management

Publication: ICCREM 2016: BIM Application and Off-Site Construction

ABSTRACT

This article analyzes 75 training programs from more than 30 colleges and universities at home and abroad to clarify the relationship among Master of Engineering Management (MEM), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Engineering (ME, which included project management), and academic master. We design the knowledge structure of MEM in three levels of science, art, and philosophy which based on the 9 knowledge areas of project management of project management body of knowledge (PMBOK). On the basic of the research, the paper recommends the core curriculum of the Master of Engineering Management.
