Abstract
This paper presents Santa Clara Valley Water District’s (SCVWD) approach to addressing their first high profile water main failure including their application of failure investigation, emergency condition assessment, pipe replacement, and the use of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) for structural rehabilitation.
