Abstract
The contribution of this paper is to summarize the exit Application (APP) of a pipeline Fiber Optical Cable (FOC)-based system with an oil (gas) pipeline background, as well as making a forecast about the developing direction of a pipeline FOC-based system APP according to the various technologies of optical fiber sensor. The FOC mentioned here is buried in the same trench as the oil (gas) pipeline.
