Study on Thermodynamic Parameters in the Injection-Production Process for Gas Storage Salt Caverns

Abstract
In the injection-production process of gas storage salt caverns, temperature and pressures change inside the dissolved chamber. At the same time, the gas exchanges heat with the surrounding salt layer from conduction and convection heat transfer to form an unstable temperature field in the wall. This paper applies a control volume mass conservation equation, an energy conservation equation, a continuity equation and a gas state equation to create a thermal analysis model in the injection-production process of gas storage salt caverns. It considers the characteristics of melting heat transfer process chamber, coupled with wellbore flow to calculate, and obtains the analytical solution.
