Error Estimation of Erase Variables in Multi-index Variables
Publication: Vulnerability, Uncertainty, and Risk: Quantification, Mitigation, and Management
Abstract
For the purpose of evaluating multiple variables in finite populations, we use multivariable power function approximation to construct a new index variable which is dependent on estimator from the erase variables, which helps reduce the number of indices in a survey. By discussing its properties, we draw a conclusion that the estimated sampling errors and the reciprocal of sample size are in the same order.
