Authors: Jie Li [email protected] and Wei LiuAuthor Affiliations
Publication: International Efforts in Lifeline Earthquake Engineering
Abstract
Some recent research developments of reliability-based design of lifeline systems are summarized in this paper, including testing of buried pipeline under non-uniform excitation, seismic reliability analysis of pipeline system and reliability-based optimization design of lifeline systems. The applications of reliability-based design on the water distribution networks are introduced as well. Finally, the possible developing tendency in the future is presented.
