Housing Monitoring Indicator System under the New Housing Regulatory Policies

Publication: ICCREM 2013: Construction and Operation in the Context of Sustainability

Abstract

Strengthening the monitoring of the housing market could avoid investment risks and prevent economic bubbles in China. Based on a series of new regulation policies issued by the State Council, prosperity index and econometric analysis were adopted in this paper the housing market monitoring systems with reference to foreign and domestic relevant theories. This study proposed a new approach of housing monitoring index system, which included housing investment amount, new land developed size, housing completely constructed size, housing sales size, land developed size and so on. This paper established weights of indicators in the index system based on their economic significance and correlations to analyze new trend in housing market development to ensure a stable real estate market.
