Abstract
With the expansion of the rail transit network scale, more and more transfer stations are being built, which is sharing a large number of passengers, so how to ensure the security operation is very important and useful. First, this paper analyzes the advanced real-time passenger flow detection technology, and grasps the demand of urban rail transit operation and management, based on making full use of "Perception-Transmission-Analysis-Application" Principle in Internet of Things, urban rail transit safe operation & management system and technology was put forward. Secondly, in support of the statistical data of real-time passenger flow information at the platform, transfer channel, import and export etc., the system can distinguish emergencies dynamically, such as congestion, aggregation and retention. Especially, it activates emergency response decision support, matching with different early warning level. Finally, it is successfully applied in Dongzhimen interchange station, which is an important transportation hub in Beijing, the result shows that the system can monitor, predict and handle passenger traffic congestion and other emergency incidents. The technology can improve the level of safe operation and management.
