Abstract
When using the batch asphalt mixing plant for thermal regeneration of RAP, to a certain extent, the performance of the recycling mixture depends on the degree of diffusion permeation of the regeneration agent in the aging asphalt. Based on the analysis of the structure and working principle of mixer, the mathematical model was established, which is related with the use parameters and operating parameters of stirrer, and the time that the recycling agent uniformly distributed required was determined. Based on solute solvent diffusion theory, the time that regeneration agent diffusion penetration required was identified by test. Last, the thermal regeneration process of ready mixed hot asphalt mixture was obtained.
