Study on the Safety Technology of the Submarine Pipeline Impending Segment in Chengdao Oilfield

Publication: ICPTT 2011: Sustainable Solutions For Water, Sewer, Gas, And Oil Pipelines

Abstract

Submarine pipeline off-design suspending is the main factor to threaten the pipeline safety. Pipeline impending mechanism and dynamic characteristics of the shallow sea are carried on for safety technology of submarine pipeline impending segment in Chengdao oilfield. The allowable length of the impending pipeline is proposed, and the control countermeasures of impending segment prevention are studied. The new technologies are developed to process pipeline impending segments in domestic, which includes DZM180 high-power hydraulic hammer, underwater hammer centralizer device and submarine pipeline fixed device with adjusting rotate and up and down. The main achievements can provide the reference to the similar projects.
