Abstract
Land use evaluation is the basis for sustainable development of freeway construction. Based on the investigation of the sustainable use of land resources, the inherent nature of sustainability land use of freeway construction was analyzed. An assessment indicator system about freeway land use was established according to the freeway functional requirements, site characteristics and present land use problems in freeway construction. Through a comprehensive consideration of coordinated development in society, economy, resource, and environment, an exponential growth curve land use evaluation model was established which was based on a method named same indefinite-contrary order of set pair analysis (SPA). The model was applied in freeway land use evaluation of China. The results showed that the evaluation model had a convenient and practical feature in calculation, strongly contrasting, and also has a better objective rationality.
