The Application of Gray Evaluation and ANN on the Forecast System of Ocean Engineering Resulting from Earthquake

Publication: Earth and Space 2010: Engineering, Science, Construction, and Operations in Challenging Environments

Abstract

The forecast of structure invalidation of ocean engineering construction items is a fuzzy and complex issue, which related with many uncertain factors. In this article gray and comprehensive evaluation method, the Back Propagation (BP) Artificial Nerve Network (ANN) and the MATALAB software are introduced to solve the forecast issue of structure invalidation in marine engineering construction. Fully considering the coordination and the mutual predominance of man-machine system, it proposes a structure invalidation forecast system including the gray comprehensive evaluation method, the BP artificial nerve network, the MATALAB software, and the multi-expert decision-making system.
