Abstract
Object prestressed concrete bridge with a 37.47m span had vibrated greatly, only when the test truck had run in the 2nd slow lane. Authors clarified that truck's suspension spring vibration had been generated by the road roughness with long space period near the expansion joint of the 2nd slow lane. Then monitoring was carried out for two years in order to investigate dynamic response characteristics (acceleration, displacement, stress and trucks weights) by running of ordinary trucks. As the results of the monitoring, the maximum loading weight of the trucks and dynamic increment factor (DIF) of strain were measured. And also, the road roughness with long space period was repaired. From the results of the monitoring after the repair, the effectiveness has been confirmed.
