Abstract
This paper presents a full example of the application of the ATC-63 methodology to assess the seismic performance of the class of wood light-frame buildings. The system design requirements of ASCE 7-05 are used as the framework, and then the seismic performance factors, SPFs, are determined by iteration until the acceptance criteria of the ATC-63 methodology are met.
