Abstract
The paper puts forward an improved model on data envelopment analysis based on degree of grey slope incidence. Needless right weighing for all indexes and any change for possible gathers; without much additional supposition and easy to calculate is the feature of the model. This paper evaluated the adaptability on highway transportation and economics of West province in China by the model. At the same time the paper arranged the effective DMU. The result showed that the improved DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) is a scientific, reasonable and simple method for adaptability assessment of highway network.
