Research on Coordination Model of the Three-Stage Dairy-Product Supply Chain

Publication: Logistics: The Emerging Frontiers of Transportation and Development in China

Abstract

According to the characteristics of the dairy-product supply chain, this paper will look at the production enterprises of dairy as nodes and study the three-stage supply chain system in phases, composed of dairy-farmers, dairy-product processing enterprises and retailers. It applies a quantity discounts contract and subsidy strategy to fit the various stages of development, and establishes the coordination model with the purpose of determining the wholesale price when dairy-product processing enterprises and retailers are coordinated. Also, the scope of the subsidy on that basis is provided for dairy-farmers to coordinate their interest, thus in the dairy-product supply chain system the coordination is ultimately realized.
