The Research of Supply Chain Logistics Management on Fruit E-Commerce Website
Publication: Logistics: The Emerging Frontiers of Transportation and Development in China
Abstract
This article explores the characteristics of Fruit E-commerce Website (FECW) and the logistic demand. It analyses problems with supply logistics management concerning fresh fruits in Sichuan Province, a production base of fruits. It studies the Fruit Supply Chain Logistics management based on Fruit E-commerce Website (FECW) with the Supply Chain Logistics Information technology. It brings forward a system for fruit industry supply logistics management based on website and a structural model for fruit e-business website supply chain management. Fruit E-commerce Website (FECW) acting as the Four party logistics (4PL) in the whole fruit Supply Chain Logistics management is creatively brought forward. The studies and analysis in this article can be used as a reference for the application of e-commerce and SCLM in provincial or national fresh fruits and vegetables industry.
