Abstract
The interfacial stresses of FRP-RC hybrid beams were studied by analytical methods. An approximate model of the hybrid beam was developed and a closed-form solution for interfacial shear stress was derived out. Then the finite element calculations were carried out for validation of the analytical solution. The comparisons between present solution and other ones in existing literatures were also performed. It is shown that the analytical solution for the interfacial shear stress is agreed well with the corresponding finite element result.
