Abstract
Engineering design and construction can be especially challenging in Alaska because of the harsh, remote, and sensitive environment. This paper focuses on the design and construction challenges of creek crossings of a large diameter potable water transmission main in the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA), in Southcentral Alaska.
