Abstract
An experimental research program to assess the deterioration and the structural performance of reinforced concrete beams is presented. The major focus of this research relates to the identification of a deterioration model that takes into account the concrete quality and different types and extents of environmental attacks (chlorides, sulphates, and carbon dioxide).
