Study on the Realization of Separate Running of Passenger Trains and Freight Trains on the Main Busy Lines

Abstract

This paper presents the current performance of Beijing-Shanghai line, A reasonable method of establishing the most suitable line capacity is advised. The most suitable line capacity of Changzhou-Shanghai, that is, a district of Beijing-Shanghai line, as a example, is calculated. These results suggest that passenger trains and freight trains should separately run on the main busy lines.
