State of the Art Laboratory Design

Abstract
Design guidelines for laboratory structural design are presented. Basic design criteria are outlined including floor loading, finishes, framing materials, collateral loads and vibrations. Framing layout and lateral force resisting systems are discussed. Examples, cost information and mechanical interface issues are presented.
