The main focus of this special collection is on recent advances in the design, inspection, assessment and maintenance of cable structures in bridge engineering, including cable-stayed bridges, suspension bridges, arch bridges. There are more than 20 papers on new design and analytical theory; cable defects detection and replacement; wind-induced vibration and mitigation; fatigue life; etc. As papers are accepted, they will be added to this online special collection.
