Erratum for “Fatigue Behavior of Steel Fiber Concrete in Direct Tension” by Bernard Isojeh, Maria El-Zeghayar, and Frank J. Vecchio

Publication: Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering
Volume 30, Issue 8
Please note the following corrections to the published version of this paper.
In Table 1, the average tensile strength for Batch 3 was provided erroneously as 2.7 MPa. It should be 3.7 MPa. The revised table is below.

The values of the material parameters were obtained using Eqs. (7) and (8). Coefficients A–D for plain concrete, as described in Eqs. (3) and (4), were obtained from Figs. 9 and 10. However, in the first row of Table 3, the values of Coefficients A and B for plain concrete were interchanged, resulting in a slightly lower value for β after calculation (0.0685: material parameter for plain concrete). The actual estimated value using the revised Coefficients A and B (obtained from Figs. 9 and 10) is 0.1000. The revised table is provided herein.
