Notes

I am very pleased to announce the Best Paper Awards for the Journal of Composites for Construction for the papers published in 2007 (Volume 11).
Awards are given for papers in the basic research category and the applied research category. In each category, a Best Paper and Honorable Mention may be awarded. Not all awards are given every year. This year, five outstanding papers were selected. The committee for the 2007 awards consisted of Professor Vicki Brown of Widener University (chair), Professor Amir Mirmiran of Florida International University, and Professor Oded Rabinovitch of Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. Members of the editorial board of the Journal participated in the down-selection process. Professor Rudi Seracino of North Carolina State University, who guest-edited a special edition of Volume 11 for the International Institute for FRP in Construction, also assisted in the down-selection. I express my sincere thanks to all those involved for their hard work in selecting the best papers. I also congratulate the award recipients. Award recipients receive a certificate of recognition from ASCE.
