Publication: Practice Periodical of Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste Management
Volume 13, Issue 2

New Manuscript Submission Requirements

All manuscripts submitted to the Practice Periodical of Hazardous, Toxic and Radioactive Waste Management should be accompanied by a list of four potential reviewers suggested by the author(s). This list should include the complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address for each reviewer and a list of at least five keywords that identify the area of expertise of each reviewer. The Periodical is not obligated to use all or any of the recommended reviewers; however, we feel that this policy will lead to an improved review process.
We have transitioned to our new electronic system, Editorial Manager, so all new submissions, including special issue articles, should be uploaded to this system. Please visit the Periodical’s Web site for more information about this change and links to the online submission/review system.

We have dedicated several issues to special topics in the past, and we plan to follow this practice in the future. The following topics are planned for future dedicated or special issues the in the order listed:

Papers in This Issue

This issue contain’s technical articles on isolation and characterization of protease producing bacteria from Quebec soil and water samples; ambient ozone formation contribution in Central Taiwan: a case study; use of ultraviolet/O3 to aqueous mineralize N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone; applications of nanomaterials in environmental science and engineering: review; reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) in artificial, contaminated soil using ferrous sulfate heptahydrate and sodium thiosulfate; analysis of virus transport in groundwater and identification of transport parameters; evaluating the fireproof quality of a building interior using recycled materials; and application of 6-sigma methodology to improve process capability of multiple characteristics of fireproof resin products.
