The JEE August issue contains the editorial “Case Studies Can Fill a Critical Need in Environmental Engineering Education.” This editorial focuses on innovative educational techniques. Also in this issue is the Simon W. Freese Environmental Engineering Lecture paper by Professor Don Wood, from the University of Kentucky. Other technical papers cover topics including water supply and treatment, water quality modeling, groundwater remediation, and wastewater treatment. Authors of these papers are from the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, and Turkey.
