Traffic Generated Noise Models

Abstract
In-situ noise level surveys have become an important part of environmental impact studies that have been prepared for proposed new and improved roadways. Since these studies are very costly, it is imperative that the engineer provide the client, the road user, and the taxpayer with information that will aid them in evaluating proposed improvements.
