Abstract
This paper presents a description of the modal split model development for Trenton, N.J. as well as the theoretical consideration in model selection and the model testing process. The calibrated model is a logit formula and is termed two-dimensional since transit utilization is related to travel time and cost difference between the competing transport modes (transit and highways).
