Field Investigations of Spillways and Outlet Works

Abstract
Hydraulic field investigations of spillway and outlet works constructed and operated by the Corps of Engineers, United States Department of the Army, at the United States Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station, Vicksburg, Miss., are presented. Test data examined include spillway, conduitintake, and gate-leaf pressures as well as air demand and concrete conduit friction factors.
