Structural Welding Inspection

Abstract
The authors examine the status of fabrication inspection in the welding industry and find a need for emphasizing certain phases of such inspection. They recommend particularly that inspectors discuss all jobs with the fabricator before work begins and recommend (as of 1953) new specifications related to welded steel fabrication.
