Studies on Tannery Waste Disposal

Abstract
This paper presents the results obtained in a two-year investigation of the disposal of tannery wastes, conducted by the Tannery Waste Disposal Committee of Pennsylvania, which is presided over by the Chief Engineer of the Department of Health of Pennsylvania, and is composed of representative engineers and chemists from the tanning interests of that State. The writers served as Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer, respectively, of the Committee.
