Abstract
The control of quality of concrete in the field has received consider able attention in the technical discussions of recent years. There has been a growing demand that the results of the extensive laboratory and field investigations into the properties of concrete be made the basis of practice. The need for a specification that will meet this demand and at the same time form an equitable basis for a contract has been quite generally expressed.
