Abstract
The object of this paper is to describe the principal construction problems that con front ed the contractor in making the connection between the present subway in Park Avenue and the new Lexington Avenue line in the vicinity of 42d Street, Borough of Manhattan, New York City, and a l so in the extension of the Queensborough Tunnel.
