Dynamic Model for Channel Bed Erosion
Publication: Journal of the Hydraulics Division
Volume 105, Issue 6
Abstract
A model for the hydrodynamical description of the flow of sediment and water in a thin layer near the bed is presented. Closer assumptions are given for the turbulence terms. A pickup relation for the concentration of sediment above the bed is examined. The behavior of the model is studied for two different simplifying assumptions about the fluid flow above the bed.
