Abstract
This paper is based on an experiment to determine the accuracy of an extended period simulation of a water distribution system. A summary description of the simulation program is presented prior to examining the design and execution of the experiment on a portion of the distribution system of San Jose Water Works, San Jose, Calif. It is concluded that the experiment demonstrated the effectiveness of the approach within limitations due to data inaccuracies.
